Alan has spent a lifetime pursuing his passion for sailing, inspired by childhood days spent studying yacht designs with his father and meeting the occasional cruising yacht that arrived in Namibia.
That early fascination led to many years of experience spanning yacht racing, offshore cruising, charter operations, project management, and ultimately a successful circumnavigation aboard his Catana catamaran with his wife and two daughters.
As a yacht broker, he combines extensive real-world boating experience with a practical understanding of what buyers and sellers need to achieve their goals. Having lived aboard and cruised extensively, he brings valuable insight to every transaction, helping clients navigate the process with confidence and clarity.
Based aboard his catamaran in the Caribbean, he remains deeply connected to the boating community through decades of yacht club involvement, including serving twice as Commodore of Gordons Bay Yacht Club. When not assisting clients, you’ll likely find him exploring nature, snorkeling local reefs, or admiring the boats anchored nearby.
