BVI Yacht Sales Overview
1999 33′ Nimbus Maxi 1000
If you’re looking for a quick and comfortable cruiser that is full of great features with solid build quality, few boats can rival the Maxi 1000. As a first yacht for coastal and offshore cruising, the Maxi 1000 has a good pedigree. Headroom below is good, with 6ft plus in the galley, aft cabin and rear of the saloon. The Maxi 1000 has a long bathing platform with a ladder and a step in the transom. Finding a yacht the same age and price that offers excellent coastal cruising, build quality and clever design features along with the ability for club racing, is a hard task.
This boat was shipped over to the Caribbean with Peters and May in 2019. She has maintained very assiduously, normally ‘dry sailed’, and ‘summers over’ in a pit at Bailey’s between July and early November.
