The Snowgoose Elite is a proven design employing both traditional Prout innovations and modern construction techniques. The result is a fast, safe, and responsive craft under sail, with spacious accommodations, tremendous load-carrying capacity and ease of handling.
DRAGONFLY is the perfect liveaboard or circumnavigator. The Awlgrip paint job could use a good buff and wax btu otherwise in good shape. Differing from other Prouts in that she has a MASSIVE FORWARD MASTER STATEROOM for more than two to roll around in, she is suitable for the taller sailor. 6 foot four head room in the hulls. Easily handled by one person with all lines and furling gear lead back to the helm. Cockpit space is superb with generous seating and excellent protection. Large salon and three private staterooms.
Large cockpit for entertaining guests with large rear deck aft of cockpit great for fishing or moving around the deck. Fresh water shower in addition to a salt water washdown outlet. Large solid foredeck suitable for easy sail handling, sun bathing or dinghy storage while under way.

The very accommodating cockpit can be accessed from both port and stbd sides of the vessel. Aft of the mainsheet traveler is a large aft deck great for fishing, entertaining and makes moving around the vessel easy. The bulkhead-mounted wheel is to starboard and because of the relatively low profile visibility is good from the helm. All of the electronics are flush mounted at the helm and consist of Furuno Radar, Garmin Echo Map 50S A Standard Horizon RAM mic socket, A Raytheon ST 6000+ Auto Pilot Control Head, A Raymarine ST 60+ Wind speed indicator, and A Raymarine 60+ TriData, and a 5? Plastimo Compass. The controls and gauge panel for the engine and transmission are also located at the helm. All sail controls are conveniently led to the cockpit where there is a clever stainless steel fairlead and a vertically mounted self-tailing winch to facilitate hoisting the sails without the need to go up on deck. There is a large storage locker under the cockpit sole with access to the engine compartment as well as two in-deck hatches to port and stbd for additional storage. The main companionway includes a thick, bi-fold door that can be closed quickly in ugly weather.
Moving forward to the deck the double lifelines and stanchions are tall, oversized and extremely well supported. Also, there is a lifeline across the bow, a nice safety feature. The double anchor roller and electric windless for hoisting the anchor with ease. The solid bridgedeck allows for two large forward lockers, which gobble up fenders, lines, jerry cans to keep the deck clean.
This cutter rigged Prout has a Z-Spar anodized aluminum spar is deck stepped. Both the genoa and staysail roller furling and the mainsail features a decent- sized roach and is fully battened. Along with the recently inspected (2019) Dyform 19 strand standing ‘Dragonfly’ is ready to take on her second circumnavigation!

The vessel is equipped with a beige Sunbrella canvas Bimini mounted on polished aluminum support frame. There are tan canvas curtains covering the external surfaces of the salon windows.
DECK & HULL:
TYPE: Molded FRP with non-skid finish.
MATERIAL: Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). Polyester Resin is used throughout the vessel.
EXTERIOR HULL: Pale blue hull with, White top sides with white tope sides. The top sides have Non-skid surfaces.

MEGAPULSE UNIT: sends a very narrow higher than normal voltage pulse to the batteries when they are in a rest condition to remove sulfate from the plates thus extending the life of the batteries.

the breakers are resettable rocker type breakers and are clearly marked. Battery Voltmeters and Ammeters are also located on the panel.
CHARGING SYSTEM: Alternator: Bosch Alternator – 120 amp w/ internal regulator.Solar Cells: Three Uni-Solar PVL-58B flexible solar cells providing about 3.9 amps each, with Trace C12 Charge/Load/Lighting controller with a 15 amp 3 stage regulator.
