1987 Hans Christian 41 Traditional ‘GIT’

The Hans Christian 41T has set the standard for sailing yachts with grace and beauty. They are noted for their quality construction, gorgeous teak interior and sea kindly characteristics (even in heavy weather). The inviting interior of Git boasts converging curves and intricate details. She has luxurious teak interior that is all wrapped into a traditionally styled canoe stern double ender.

Git is the Molokai version, designed with excellent ventilation with large butterfly hatch in main salon and two large hatches above the pullman berth.

The present owner acquired the vessel in 89 and had her delivered to Mamaroneck, NY where she was lightly sailed on Long Island Sound in summer and winter stored at Robert Direktor Yard until 1999. Then professionally delivered to the St Thomas Yacht Club where she has been lightly used primarily for daysailing with owners friends and guests. She has been operated and maintained professionally throughout her lifetime.
The GIT is hoping to find a new home with a younger generation who can appreciate her timeless beauty and assume the stewardship that she deserves.
