BVI Yacht Sales Overview

55′ Lagoon 55 ‘Flying Ginny’

This 55 Lagoon 55 was built for the original owner of the Moorings using both Fiberglass and Kevlar.  ‘Flying Ginny’ is the popular 8 guest charter Version, with private double crew cabin and head.  Priced for a quick sale ‘as is, where is’, this Lagoon 55 used to be a succesful crewed charter yacht business!

This boat was originally commissioned by Charlie Carey the founder and former owner of the Moorings.

She was built and finished to his exacting specification built mostly from Kevlar with a foam core on the deck and balsa in the hull. She has stood the test of time better than any and is a real head turner. Inviting remarks and praise wherever she goes.

Her looks are only surpassed by her sailing performance. Designed by the legendary multihull designers of VPLP

She has a great turn of speed and easily cruises in the double figures whilst the wine glass sits motionless on the table.
