BVI Yacht Sales Overview

The Gulfstar 60 is best described as a powerful and versatile cruising yacht. Built as ‘go anywhere’ boats, they are stout and durable. The previous owner was meticulous with the upkeep on Virginia B and the full time crew used to maintain her to a high standard. Some of the outstanding features include the enormous aft master suite with private ensuite, oversized headroom throughout, generous size galley, and homey feeling from the moment you step aboard.

‘Virginia B’ currently is located at Tortola. During Hurricane Irma she was in the water at Nanny cay where she suffered damage to the port side but did not take on water , this and has since been repaired. A projectile dented her mast on the starboard side above the goose neck during the storm, we have had rigger on board to inspect the dent and he believes it does not affect the integrity of the mast as it is dented in the fairing for the sail and not part of the compression column of the mast. She has a cracked plexiglass window over the chart table (which let in rain water during the storm, damaging the inverter/charger) , but now has a temporary repair. Her topsides will want fairing and painting, and the rub rails, cap rails and cockpit combing need repair as well. The sails are like new and the spinnaker has never been used. She has a Perkins 200hp engine has approximately 1800 hours on it, and a Northern Lights generator, both are in working condition.
