The Swedish boatbuilding company Halberg-Rassy has been in existence for 51 years now and still flourishes. That fact  in  itself speaks to the incredible reputation these yachts  hold for seaworthiness, speed, comfort, beauty, style, safety, strength, durability, superb design by German Frers, and hold their resale value .This particular HR 42 F Mk II even though now 25 years old , shows like a new boat!The first 22 years of her life , she was only splashed for 6 weeks each year , then kept meticulously well in dry storage for the remainder of each year.The last few years she sailed in the Mediterranean and then over to the Caribbean.Consequently  she shows like a new yacht , All the sail handling equipment is in perfect working order, sails are in good condition, running rigging is in good condition, standing rigging is original but was inspected and is in great condition.The interior joinery is like new, there are absolutely no signs of any Leaks on windows or hatches, bilges, under engine, lockers etc are all spotless.Stainless steel chain plates are like new.The upholstery and mattresses are in near perfect condition , they have always had topper covers to protect them.There is also an optional interior carpet that comes with the yacht.There is no generator but the vessels solar and wind power system is sufficient to keep her self sufficient for typical  power usage.LOBI this HR 42 is fully ready to do world cruising .
