The Hanse 548 represents the pinnacle of nautical luxury, seamlessly blending exceptional sailing performance with unmatched interior comfort and amenities. Having both owned and chartered a range of vessels over the years the owners were impressed by the German build quality that Hanse represents so they commissioned the build of Chill Time in 2019. She was then featured in the Annapolis and Newport boat shows before being delivered to the BVI in November of 2019.
Chill Time has never been chartered or raced, and the owners have spared no expense to ensure she stays in excellent condition. Due to the pandemic and the owner's light use of the vessel, she has endured very little wear and tear and still shows like a new Hanse to this day. In professional management since NEW with the Hanse factory dealer here at Nanny Cay Marina's Naia Sailing Club. The new owner has the option to join Naia Sailing Club, providing access to a care-free sailing experience with perks such as discounts on insurance, dockage, and the assistance of a professional maintenance team. This means you can simply show up, provision, and enjoy your yacht hassle-free.
Embrace a feeling of home on the water while experiencing a sense of luxury and comfort aboard this Hanse 548. Meticulously crafted by Judel/Vrolijk & Co, Chill Time awaits your hand on her helm for an unparalleled sailing experience. Owners Remarks:
Having spent many years evaluating and sailing a variety of boats, once we stepped onto this model my immediate words were "this is the difference between a boat and a yacht" It was love at first sight. The performance is amazing, she is solid, planted, fast and gives confidence even in harsh conditions. The way she is rigged makes sailing single handed a breeze, with self tacking jib, winches at the helm, electric furling jib and genoa, there is no need to go forward.
One of the most important criteria was to have the latest electronics, B&G 12" Chart plotters and associated instrumentation at both helms. These units make navigating a pleasure and give comprehensive data feedback of all systems on the boat with the integrated CZone monitoring and control system.
Details such as the Ultra Anchor which sets every time continue to provide confidence and comfort. When at anchor and night falls, the lighting built into the hard top provides an exceptional place to relax. We use the electric grill, at the back of the cockpit all the time and clean up is easy with the adjacent sink, followed by a cool one from the fridge under the grill.
Down below, the cabin layout is light airy and spacious providing plenty of space for gatherings and diner after a long day's sail. The owner's cabin is sound proofed so allows for a peaceful night.
To go ashore, lower the Highfield dinghy from the davits and close the transom door remotely as you leave. Come back and quickly hoist it back in position. It sure beats dragging a dinghy behind the boat all day!

Notable features include the retractable bow & stern thrusters for an effortless docking experience, a massive storage locker forward with a sealed bulkhead, layout pads on deck under the boom, flush-mounted deck hatches and the retractable transom door that can be controlled from the helm or with a remote control. The windlass can also be controlled from the helm or foredeck. The fabulous hard top provides an oasis from the elements if need be. Or roll up the isinglass and open up the sliding shade allowing you to trim the mainsail with ease while still navigating in the shade. The electric furlers for the head sails, electric winches, self-tacking jib & slab reefing mainsail with all lines leading back to the twin helms, both with full navigational electronics packages, make this model an absolute pleasure to sail be it short or single-handed.
