Description

The Wauquiez Centurion 45S (designed by Berret-Racoupeau) is widely celebrated by sailors as a premium performance racer-cruiser. Reviewers praise its exceptional build quality, elegant aesthetics, and legitimate offshore speed. The Wauquiez Centurion 45s is a robust and elegant performance cruiser, appreciated for its quality and excellent sailing characteristics. Designed by the famous yacht designer Ed Dubois and built by the French shipyard Wauquiez, this model combines speed and comfort, ideal for long distances.

Technical specifications and design The hull of the Centurion 45s is made of hand-laminated fiberglass with vinylester resin and built using the infusion technique, which ensures a light and stiff construction. Equipped with a bulb keel, this yacht offers optimum stability and excellent sailing performance. With a length of 14,00 meters, a beam of 4,16 meters and a draft of 1,95 meters, it is suitable for both coastal waters and open sea.

Rigging and Sail Plan The Centurion 45s has a fractional rig with a high set mainsail and an easy to trim headsail, which improves maneuverability and speed. Thanks to the balanced sail area to weight ratio, this yacht offers high speeds without compromising stability, making her suitable for both racing and comfortable cruising.

Interior and comfort: The interior of the Centurion 45s is practical and luxurious, with a spacious saloon, well-equipped galley and three double cabins for a comfortable stay on board. The use of teak gives the interior a warm, classic look. An inspection will reveal to a prospective purchaser the outstanding attention to detail in its high quality cabinetry and joinery. We welcome your visit !

The hull was professionally sprayed in silver metallic Awlgrip with a clear coat approximately four years ago and is reported to remain in excellent condition.

The Centurion 45S combines sporty sailing performance with a comfortable cruising interior. The “S” designation represents the model’s sport-oriented configuration, complemented by a tall mast, large single steering wheel and Harken Black Magic deck equipment.

Below deck, the three-cabin, two-head layout provides generous accommodation, practical living spaces and high-quality wood finishes. Wauquiez’s hull and deck construction has earned the yard a strong reputation for producing robust, premium-quality cruising yachts.
